What we Did this Week: Football, Travel, and Get Well Edition

we played football in the front yard with my sister's family after a giant "sunday dinner": roast chicken, garlic smashed potatoes, broccoli casserole, warm bread, and spiced apple cake.

we watched the city leaf-scooper-upper (that's a very technical term) scoop up all of the leaves that we had raked.

we had family pictures taken and experienced a moment of relative calm before the tantrum storm.

we snuggled together for an afternoon nap.

we traveled to the chicago suburbs to visit tim's family (and stopped to play with sticks along the way).

we played rock band. (the family that rocks together…well, rocks.)

we made a get well sign for tim's mom when she got sick.
