Always wondered about the bespoke process at David M Robinson? We’d like to provide you with an insight with a closer look at our bespoke ring production.
Stage 1 – Turned up metal, ready to solder joint.
Bespoke Ring: Stage 2 – Heating of the metal to make the solder flow for a secure joint.
Bespoke Ring: Stage 3 – Marking out the borders of the ring.
Bespoke Ring: Stage 4 – Marking out of where all the diamonds are to be set.
Bespoke Ring: Stage 5 – Preparing to drill holes for the diamond setting.
Bespoke Ring: Stage 6 – Preparing the screw head detail for the larger holes.
Bespoke Ring: Stage 7 – Burring out the holes for setting.
Bespoke Ring: Stage 8 – Piercing out the borders using a saw blade that is 1mm wide!
Bespoke Ring: Stage 9 – Filing Profile in the borders.
Bespoke Ring: Stage 10 – Soldering of the three sections.
